I’m from New Orleans, LA and currently live in Kenner, LA. I consider myself a career student as I love to learn. I started my nursing career receiving my Associates Degree in Nursing from Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans in 2010. I then completed my Bachelors in Nursing from Louisiana State University in 2012. I received my Master's (2017) and Doctorate in Nursing (2019) from University of South Alabama.

The first year of my nursing career started in medical surgical nursing. I quickly realized that my passion was psychiatric nursing after taking a PRN job on a geriatric psychiatric inpatient unit. I am current a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient setting. I currently work full time at a community mental health clinic and have my private practice.
