Jennifer L. Slover, Ph.D., has been a counseling professional since 2012 in community mental health and private practice. Dr. Slover has been teaching at Walden University since 2021. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University in 2020. Her clinical practice includes work with various populations, focusing on children, adolescents, and families. She is a licensed professional counselor-supervisor, national certified counselor, and registered play therapist-supervisor. Her research interests include trauma, child and adolescent mental health, attachment, and neurobiology.
