Jennifer Bell Jenkins recieved her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Capella University. She received her MAEd in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech. She currently serves as contributing faculty in the School of Counseling for Walden University. Dr. Jenkins will be teaching in a variety of counselor education courses. She has previously taught Theories of Counseling, Counseling Strategies, Couples & Family Counseling, Group Counseling, MultiCultural Counseling, and many other counseling courses at other universities. Professionally, Dr. Jenkins has worked as a licensed School Counselor, Intensive In-Home Counselor and currently maintains a private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She also maintains a Registered Play Therapist credential (RPT) and maintains a Board-Certified Telemental Health (BC-TMH) certification. She has published in the International Journal of Play Therapy and has presented at mutliple conferences on disability and autism spectrum disorders.
