Dr. Jenise Wilson is a contributing faculty member who has been in the counseling field since 2014. She graduated from the University of Mary in 2014 with her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and graduated with her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University in 2020. She has been in the teaching profession since 2016. She has had a variety of experiences with clients ages 8+, and currently sees clients ages 15 and up. She has a passion and research interest in trauma and attachment and how those wounds impact our daily lives. Some of her major work accomplishments include receiving the Supervisor of Year and Counselor of the Year awards in 2022 through the North Dakota Counseling Association. Other major accomplishments are helping students achieve their goals and learning their passions, whether in the classroom or through mentorship and supervision.
