Jannia Mendez, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida since 2017. She has been at Walden University since January 2019. Currently she is a Clinical Instructor for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner track in the Nursing department the the College of Health

While coursing her Masters in Nursing Education at University of Central Florida during 2010 – 2012 she was research assistant to Dr Ann Norris at the UCF Game Project which looked at developing a game using life-size avatars and real-life scenarios to promote sexual abstinence among Latina middle schoolers.
In 2012 she worked as clinical instructor and adjunct faculty in Seminole State College in Florida
