Corey McKenna has been in a professor of education for 25 years. He has prepared new elementary school teachers and worked with doctoral students during this time. His education career started in elementary and high school, teaching biology and chemistry. He was also a vice principal at local schools in central CA. He was awarded teacher of the year in 1998 and faculty teacher of the year in 2018. Corey ​is also actively involved in the National Science Teaching Association and AACTE.
At Walden University, Corey will be contributing faculty in the education doctoral program.
