Dr. Inez Black is a lifetime learner. She has a passion for education, teaching, and numbers. Dr. Inez Black started with Walden University in 2020. However, she has taught business, and finance courses at other universities for over 20 years. She has also worked in the medical and supply chain industry for several years, and has vast experience in areas such as management, auditing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and taxes.

Dr. Black believes in doing the right thing for the right reason! Doing the right thing makes the world a better place. Social change also makes the world a better place. It is Dr. Black's belief that each person makes a difference and therefore she supports organizations such as St. Jude Children's Hospital, Children's Miracle Network, and United Way to name a few.

Dr. Black is also volunteers her time to be Something2Somebody by feeding hot meals to the homeless on Sundays. Dr. Inez Black also donates to her local battered women's shelter. Dr. Black also volunteers and works with My Healing Within to help provide support and information for victims of domestic violence. Dr. Black lost her father to Alzheimer in 2022 and continues to support the Alzheimer's Association in his honor.
