Hebah Khalifa
Dr. Hebah Khalifa is an Afro/Arab educator and therapist. She is a highly motivated clinical supervisor who promotes equality and social justice in marginalized communities. She is a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in eye movement desensitization reprocessing, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and somatic experiencing. Her clinical work allows her to guide graduate students, LMSWs, and experienced clinicians. Her approach is beneficial in helping social workers provide culturally competent care to marginalized communities. Additionally, Hebah has taught social work on the graduate level for over eight years. She applies social justice framework, intersectionality, positionality and power to social work practice, research, and teaching.
