George F. King, Ph.D. is a retired law enforcement professional. He worked in corrections, law enforcement, and court security, retiring as a sergeant in the court security unit. He has been teaching for a total of 25 years, 17 of which have been online. Dr. King completed his dissertation on voluntary turnover in law enforcement and is also finishing up an e-text on Ethics in Criminal Justice. Dr. King also worked as an investigator for the Florida Bar before moving to Tennessee.
Dr. King currently teaches criminal justice courses at Walden University. He is also a dissertation committee chair and a second committee member for several students.
