Dr. Gabriella Locke received her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University in May 2021. She is currently a contributing faculty member in the Counseling program at Walden University, and has worked here since November 2024. Dr. Locke is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and a Certified Digital Health and Wellness Professional. In addition to teaching, she owns a part-time private counseling practice, where she specializes in substance use disorders, behavioral and process addictions, trauma, and adolescents and young adults. Her research interests include the intersection of behavioral/process addictions and trauma, and social justice and multiculturalism in the counseling field.
