Felicia Speed

Felicia Speed received her PhD in Human Services at Walden University in October 2021. She currently serves as Contributing Faculty at Walden University, having started in 2025. Dr. Speed also served as an adjunct faculty member at Greenville Technical College, teaching Introduction to Social Work. Professionally, she has worked as a social worker for a large dialysis organization for 25 years. Dr. Speed now holds a senior leadership position with an emphasis on improving the quality of life for patients living with kidney disease. She has spent over two decades elevating the competency and relevance of social work services in the nephrology space. She has spoken at professional conferences for over 10 years. Dr. Speed has several publications related to dialysis patients.
