Dr. Erica A. Davies is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric psychology, with over a decade of professional experience in clinical practice, research, and higher education. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University and has extensive training in evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents. Dr. Davies currently serves as a full-time Pediatric Outpatient Psychologist at Geisinger Medical Center, where she provides comprehensive assessment and treatment services to youth and their families.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Davies has several years of teaching experience at the doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate levels. She is an adjunct professor in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at Fielding Graduate University and has also taught at Pepperdine University and King’s College. At Walden University, Dr. Davies contributes as a doctoral-level instructor and mentor, supporting student development through instruction, feedback, and academic guidance. Her teaching focuses on areas such as psychopathology, ethics, supervision, and clinical interventions.
Her professional background includes leadership roles in program development, trauma-informed care, and integrated primary care behavioral health. She has served as a program director, trauma trainer, and clinician across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. Dr. Davies is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association and the Society of Pediatric Psychology, and she has held leadership roles in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Dr. Davies’ major accomplishments include her published research on parenting children with autism, contributions to integrated behavioral health programming, and recognition for innovation in community mental health services.
