Eric Henderson
Dr. Eric Henderson is a Contributing Faculty member in the MSW program. He is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy for 20+ years, 10 years as a social worker. He has been an adult educator since 2002. He is a board-certified diplomate (BCD) in clinical social work and a certified clinical trauma professional. He specializes in treating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other stress-related disorders; he gained interest in PTSD while working as a clinician in a residential treatment program. He is certified in auricular acupuncture and utilizes the intervention to assist clients with anxiety, mood, cravings and chronic pain. He also has experience in providing online tele-mental health treatment to college students, working in various departments as a hospital social worker, working in adolescent probation as well as a high school social worker.
