Dr. Elliot Isom has been a counselor educator since 2015. Currently he serves as a contributing faculty member in Walden University's School of Counseling. Dr. Isom holds counseling licenses in Kansas and Arizona. Dr. Isom has 6 peer reviewed publications and has presented over 20 times to counseling organizations up to the national level. Research interests include: how counselors in training can develop multicultural competency, developing counseling skills through hybrid formats and gatekeeping in counselor education.
