Dr. Elizabeth "Miki" Anderson has 16 years of teaching experience, five of which have been focused on graduate courses. Her counseling experience consists of private practices, university counseling centers, domestic abuse agencies, and community mental health centers. Dr. Anderson has appeared on podcasts such as KinderMind and Pineapple Talk, has led webinars on self-care and wellness, and has presented her doctoral research at the 2022 Popular Culture Association Conference and the 2023 Association for Adult Development & Aging (AADA) Conference.

Dr. Anderson has been with Walden University since January 2025. She has facilitated core courses and field experience in the Master's program and serves on dissertation research committees for the PhD program, focusing on content and methodology.
