Elissa Dawkins received her PhD in Educational Research and Evaluation with a minor in Systems Analysis from Nova Southeastern University in May 2019. She currently serves as a Contributing Faculty member in the School of Education as of July 10, 2023, where she will be mentoring students. Dr. Dawkins taught Advanced Quantitative Research Design and Analysis, statistics at all levels, dissertation and capstone readiness courses, as well as a dissertation research reviewer. Professionally, Dr. Dawkins worked as a researcher in the field of preventative medicine and published several studies on high touch care, preventive cardiology, and COVID reinfection studies.
