Dr. Diedre Wade

Dr. Wade lives in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky (home of the KY Derby) where she is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S). She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida where she used to reside. Dr. Wade has been teaching online full-time and adjunct for over three years and loves working with adult Master of Counseling Students.

Dr. Wade has a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She has worked in a drug court setting, residential treatment, inpatient behavioral health, and full-time private practice. She still has a small telehealth practice, specializing in OCD, anxiety, and body image issues. Dr. Wade also works PRN/”as needed” at the Louisville jail, conducting mental health assessments and evaluations. Her research interests include mental toughness, sports performance, substance abuse, international mental health, body image issues, and anything pertaining to self-care and wellness.
