Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Deb York holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Argosy University and a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is licensed as a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. She worked in the medical field as a registered nurse since 1990. Deb did her LPC internship at Cumberland Heights, a substance abuse treatment center. Deb is certified as a functional medicine practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine.
She is a charter member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor Association (TLPCA), and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).
Deb has taught nursing clinical at Belmont University and Union University and is now collaborating faculty at Walden University. She is currently working on her DNP.
