Deborah Brannan
As an applied social and organizational psychologist and Portland State University Alumni, Dr. Brannan' has worked closely with EY (Ernst & Young) as a Thought Leadership Analyst and Organizational Psychologist. She has worked on global research studies on transformations and women in tech #womenfastforward, https://www.ey.com/en_us/women-fast-forward and collaborated closely with Oxford University.
Dr. Brannan has also worked on numerous community-based studies as well as health related work. Her research has been focused on understanding how positive interactions and social support buffer individuals from stress and health behaviors. Using daily process methodology, Dr. Brannan and her team have examined the effects of daily social support on drinking behaviors, as well as the work-family-school balance among non-traditional college students.
In addition, she has collaborated with colleagues from Harvard and University of Miami who are interested in examining home health care aids and physical and mental health. Dr. Brannan teaches undergraduate courses at Walden and sits on dissertation committees.
