Dr. DeAnna Bond is a contributing faculty member in Walden University's Richard W. Riley College of Education and Human Sciences. She is a leader, educator, and psychologist with over 20 years of experience spanning behavioral health, education, government, and human services. She holds a PhD in psychology from Capella University and brings deep expertise in emotional intelligence, counseling, leadership development, program implementation, data analysis, data governance, and strategic planning.
Dr. Bond has led cross-sector initiatives focused on social-emotional learning, juvenile justice/restorative practices, and education reform. She is passionate about using data storytelling, applied research, and user-centered strategies to drive impactful solutions. As an educator, she takes a student-centered approach to teaching psychology and research, making foundational concepts engaging, accessible, and relevant to real-world experiences. She has served as a dissertation committee member and her diverse professional background allows her to bridge theory and practice, offering students a rich, applied learning environment.
