Dana Kaminski, Ph.D., recently joined Walden University as a contributing faculty member in the School of Education’s doctoral program. He brings 30 years of experience in public education, including 25 years as a principal in both urban and suburban districts throughout the Indianapolis region.

Dr. Kaminski has also served in higher education for nine years, supporting aspiring principals through their internship experiences and teaching the final internship course required for graduation. He is a passionate educator dedicated to fostering the success of adult learners and guiding them through the rigorous process of earning a doctoral degree.

He takes particular pride in her leadership as principal of a highly diverse and economically challenged school that successfully transformed its performance rating from failing to an A. ​

Dr. Kaminski is a graduate of Purdue University, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Ball State University. He is enthusiastic about the opportunity to support and influence educators as they pursue their doctoral studies and advance in their professional journeys.
