Dr. Crystal Amanda Balson started her nursing education in 2011, obtaining her ADN from Baptist School of Health Professionals and graduated as a registered nurse in 2012. She started her career in San Antonio, Texas, working as an emergency department registered nurse. Dr. Balson returned to school to become a family nurse practitioner in 2015, graduating from Frontier Nursing University with her MSN in 2018. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in an urgent care setting since 2018. She completed her DNP from Frontier Nursing University in 2019, graduating Sigma Theta Tau. Dr. Balson joined Walden University in 2020 with the College of Health Sciences as contributing faculty for the Master of Science in Nursing program.
