Dr. Crissy Allen-Doyle is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of nursing experience. Her professional background includes pediatric critical care, nursing leadership, and psychiatric mental health practice across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and emergency care settings.

Dr. Allen-Doyle currently practices as a psychiatric provider, delivering comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Her clinical expertise includes psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and crisis intervention for patients with complex behavioral health needs, including trauma and co-occurring disorders.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Allen-Doyle brings over a decade of leadership experience as a patient care manager in a pediatric intensive care unit, where she led staff development, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety efforts.
At Walden University, Dr. Allen-Doyle serves as faculty and is committed to supporting adult learners through a student-centered approach that emphasizes communication, flexibility, and real-world application of knowledge.

Her scholarly interests include adolescent mental health, trauma-informed care, patient safety, and early identification of depressive symptoms in clinical settings. She has presented her work at professional conferences and has received recognition for excellence in nursing research and leadership.
