Chris Fry

Dr. Fry holds a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a doctorate in Information Technology. He has been a software developer since 1998 and has taught online courses for several years.

He firmly believes in keeping informed of technological advancements and continuous learning. This is one of the reasons why he chose to teach. He has had several great professors and mentors along his educational journey, and his goal is to be one for other aspiring IT professionals.

He is a father of three children. His oldest is a sophomore majoring in early education. He also has a son who is a freshman majoring in music education. His youngest daughter is nine and loves karate. In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing video games, and reading about new cloud technologies. In addition, he enjoys watching baseball and football.

Most recently, Dr. works for an IT consulting firm that contracts with large oil and gas companies and various state and federal agencies across the United States. He has been with the company for over a decade and enjoys leading and mentoring junior-level developers through career decisions.
