Christine Consiglio-Greco

Dr. Christine A. Consiglio-Greco, DSW, LCSW, is the Director of Care Management at White Plains Hospital, where she leads a multidisciplinary team of more than 80 care management professionals, including nurse case managers, social workers, and utilization review specialists. She provides strategic leadership for care coordination, utilization management, and discharge planning, driving initiatives that improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, optimize length of stay, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

With more than two decades of experience in healthcare and social work leadership, Dr. Consiglio-Greco has held progressive leadership roles within White Plains Hospital and Northwell Health, overseeing social work services across multiple hospitals and clinical specialties. She has led numerous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient experience, behavioral health, maternal health, hospital throughput, and care transitions.

In addition to her healthcare leadership, Dr. Consiglio-Greco serves as an Adjunct Professor and Faculty Advisor at both Columbia University School of Social Work and Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, where she mentors future social workers and teaches graduate-level courses in healthcare social work and advanced clinical practice. She is proud to be joining the adjunct faculty at Walden University, beginning the upcoming fall 2026 term.

Dr. Consiglio-Greco earned her Doctor of Social Work from Capella University, where her dissertation examined social work's role in supporting caregivers receiving home hospice services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Council on Social Work Education. A frequent presenter on healthcare quality, care transitions, and social work practice, she is committed to advancing interdisciplinary collaboration and improving the delivery of patient-centered care.

Dr. Consiglio-Greco resides in Westchester, New York with her family.
