Dr. Christine Claitor holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from the University of Oregon, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University. She has 18 years of teaching experience, including 9 years in the public school system and 9 years working privately with families, as well as 3 years working with college learners at the Doctoral and Master's levels. Dr. Claitor began working with Walden University in 2025 as a Contributing Faculty member in the Department of Education, supporting learners on their doctoral journey. Her research interests include Twice-Exceptional Learners, Gifted Education, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Curriculum Development, Educational Assessments, and student-centered learning environments. Dr. Claitor is a professional member of The Council for Exceptional Children. To date, her favorite accomplishment has been supporting and advocating for learners to reach their full potential.
