Christina Heath has been a contributing faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health program at Walden University since 2024. Dr. Heath holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision and a master’s degree in Counselor Education. She specializes in school counseling, child and adolescent counseling, and human growth and development. She is a published scholar and a frequent presenter at various workshops and professional development meetings. In addition to teaching, she has diverse experiences as a counselor in schools and private practice. Since 2012, Dr. Heath has worked as a counselor in the school setting where she has experience working with all age groups including children, adolescents, and teenagers. She also works with their caregivers, faculty members, and administration. Dr. Heath is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and is trained in Play Therapy and Art Therapy.
