Christianne Nesbitt, DNP, RN, GNP-BC, PMHNP-BC received her DNP from Old Dominion University in 2010. She currently services as the Program Coordinator for the Adult Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Dr. Nesbitt has taught several courses at other universities including Advanced Pathophysiology, Advanced Physical Assessment, Interprofessional Health Promotion, Aging in the 21st Century, Management of Mental Health: Geriatric, Management of Chronic Diseases, as well as coordinating clinical courses. She maintained a clinical practice at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia from 1998 until 2022. Her area of research interest is investigating behavior problems for those living with dementia. She is currently working with collaborators to research the use of technology, to monitor and mitigate the effects of behavior problems for individuals living with dementia.
