Dr. Redden earned her Master’s degree in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado. Previously she received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Denver's Graduate School of International Studies, where she specialized in Comparative Studies, Research and Methodology. Her undergraduate BA in Education degree was in social sciences and Spanish from Indiana State University. Redden's current areas of special interest include instructional strategies for corporate training, performance-based needs assessment, ethics in instruction, and evaluation of program/ learning outcomes. As owner of StepUP Projects for Business, Dr. Redden is an active instructional design and development practitioner and has consulted with major corporations, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. Prior to forming StepUP, Redden worked as an instructional designer and writer, trainer, policy/budget analyst, investment manager, business management analyst, and educator. She has taught at a variety online universities at undergraduate and graduate levels
