Dr. Charessa McIntosh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. Charessa started her college education at North Carolina A&T State University and eventually transferred to Fayetteville State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Charessa attended Liberty University where she received her Masters of Art in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She returned to Fayetteville State University where she earned her Master of Social Work degree. She holds a Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Charessa's research interests include microaggressions, racial trauma, and childhood trauma. She is a Nationally Certified TF-CBT clinician and has worked diverse populations including Veterans, children, and families.
