Carson McElhatton

Carson earned her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020. With full licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC), acknowledged in most states, Carson has devoted the last 3 years to serving as a mental health therapist in private practice. Prior to this, she spent 4 years working in non-profit and agency settings. Her expertise lies in the areas of anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. She is proficient in child-centered play therapy and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Carson has maintained professional affiliations with organizations such as the American Counseling Association and the Western Association for Counselor Education.
