Dr. Carolyn Bennett is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Doctor of Business Administration program at Walden University. She earned her Doctor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in international business, where her research focused on the success strategies of Black Women business owners. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Park University, graduating magna cum laude.
Dr. Bennett brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience and more than 20 years of leadership as a retired United States Army Veteran. She has founded and managed several businesses centered on custom product design, cultural branding, and community empowerment. A graduate of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business Program, Dr. Bennett is committed to advancing economic equity and building generational wealth through small business development.
At Walden University, Dr. Bennett supports scholarship in entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategy. Her work integrates real-world experience with academic inquiry to help shape sustainable business models that create social impact.
