Carmen Leggett
As a social worker, Dr. Leggett's professional experience focuses on shaping Army policy to address domestic abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behaviors in youth. Dr. Leggett has dedicated her career to fostering social change by advocating for military families, civilians, and Host Nation personnel, promoting violence-free environments, and enhancing educational opportunities to improve quality of life. Dr. Leggett’s research interests include adoption and education. She retired United States Army and currently serves as a Family Advocacy Program Specialist while also serving as a Contributing Faculty Member at Walden University.
