Billy Leonardo

Dr. Leonardo has a doctorate in nursing with a specialty in family and psychiatric mental health. Dr. Leonardo commenced working for Walden in February 2021 as a contributing faculty for the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. He advanced his position as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner core faculty in February 2023. He practices as a family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. His psychiatric clinical experience includes inpatient and outpatient settings. He is skilled and trained to manage acute and chronic psychiatric disorders with psychopharmacological interventions and psychotherapy. Dr. Leonardo is experienced to manage patients with substance abuse disorders.
