Beatrice Samson
Beatrice Samson is a dynamic leader with years of experience working in education, helping people of all ages and backgrounds understand and learn when presented with new information. A bilingual communicator who uses these skills to support public education campaigns that reach and engage multicultural populations, in particular, people of Afro-Caribbean descent. She is a passionate educator with experience in early learning, program management, and professional development. Skilled in fostering inclusive learning environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and building community partnerships to support child and family success. Adept at mentoring educators, enhancing program quality, and driving organizational growth.
Samson has over 22 years of experience working in the field of early childhood education, delivering leadership, accountability, and excellence in various capacities. Many of her professional experiences include teaching in higher education, both in community college and a four-year private institution, teaching early childhood coursework, training, establishing, and managing early education and school-age enrichment programs.
She earned a B.S degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. Currently, she is pursuing an Ed.D. at Walden University in Higher Education with a research focus on teacher turnover in early childhood education.
In addition to being a graduate student at Walden University, Samson serves as a Contributing Faculty member in the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies (TEMPO) program.
Samson is truly passionate about education and believes that Early Learning educators are leaders of education, and desires to see students succeed in becoming professionals who advocate for young children, empower families, and impact communities.
