Dr. Ashley Lawal is a doctoral-level practitioner and board-certified behavior analyst with over ten years of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis, including eight years of practice as a BCBA. She received her PhD from Capella University. Her work spans clinical and community-based settings, with a focus on delivering evidence-based, socially meaningful interventions.

Dr. Lawal serves as an adjunct faculty member at Walden University, where she supports student learning by bridging applied clinical experience with academic instruction in applied behavior analysis. She is committed to preparing the next generation of practitioners through rigorous, practice-informed teaching.

Her research interests center on the intersection of healthy nutrition, lifestyle behavior, and mental health, with an emphasis on applying behavior-analytic principles to promote sustainable, meaningful change. Her subject matter expertise includes behavioral assessment, individualized treatment planning, and data-based decision making.
