In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Anne M. Marchetti has over 30 years of finance and accounting experience in both private industry and public accounting. Her expertise includes the design, implementation, analysis and optimization of internal control systems as well as corporate governance and risk management programs. Ms. Marchetti has worked globally with both public and private entities in most industries as well as organizations of all sizes. She authored 3 books entitled Beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance – Effective Enterprise Risk Management , Sarbanes-Oxley On-going Compliance Guide and Enterprise Risk Management Best Practices: From Assessment to Ongoing Compliance. Anne focuses her research on small business and non profit fraud. She authored a doctoral study entitled Small Nonprofit Fraud: Risk Mitigation Strategies.
Anne has spoken at numerous conferences as well as published several articles on these subjects. She has designed training programs for Board of Directors and Audit Committees as well as end users and consultants on various business software applications, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ERM in addition to IFRS and has conducted over 200 formal training seminars.
Anne has taught at the University level since 2014. She delivers instruction on undergraduate and graduate accounting subject matter. In addition, Anne is a member of the AICPA faculty and regularly provides instruction on Internal Control Design & Documentation, Management Assessment of Internal Control, Audit Training - Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced, International Financial Reporting Standards, Development of Anti-Fraud Programs and Ethics.
Ms. Marchetti currently serves as a Faculty SME in the MBA Tempo program at Walden University.
Anne currently operates Account-Ability Consulting and provides advisory, consulting and training/education services in the areas of internal controls optimization, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, , strategic management and, financial system implementation.
Ms. Marchetti received a B.S. in Economics from Providence College and a M.S.in Accounting from the University of Hartford. She earned a DBA at Walden University.
