Dr. Anita Korbe began her nursing career with a BSN degree from Fort Hays State University and went on to earn a master’s degree in nursing administration and a Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina. After several years of teaching she completed a Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Korbe has been a certified nurse educator since 2008 and is also certified in lifestyle medicine by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Korbe is a member of the ANA, NLN and has served as the President-elect and President of the South Carolina League of Nursing and as Chair of the Education Committee for the South Carolina Nurses Association. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and has served on the board for the Gamma Omicron Chapter at Large.

She is active in her community raising money through local organizations for scholarships for local high school students to attend college.
