Alexa-Marie Ramirez

Dr. Ramirez has been a nurse since 2011. Her clinical background is an array of critical care but, she spent most of her bedside nursing years in medical and cardiovascular intensive units. However, has experience working in hospice, long-term care, and outpatient surgical centers. Dr. Ramirez has been an educator since 2021 and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University in 2024. Her professional experience includes teaching at an Associate's Degree Nursing program for various local community colleges. Through her time as an educator, she's gained countless valuable experiences in curriculum development, student retention, and various disciplines. Dr. Ramirez serves as a chair for the Curriculum Committee in both her department and campus-wide.
