Airen Wallen
Dr. Airen Wallen has an Ed.S. in School Psychology and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. She is a Contributing Faculty Member for the Psychology program in the undergraduate School of Psychology. She is currently working in her 23rd year in the public K-12 school system as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist conducting psychoeducational testing and writing reports for students suspected of or having disabilities. She conducts these psychoeducational evaluations for seven schools within a large school district in eastern Kentucky. Additionally, she teaches courses at Walden University and other colleges throughout the country, in their Education or Psychology Departments. Born, raised, and currently living in the Appalachian Mountains of eastern Kentucky, Dr. Wallen is a proud hillbilly who lives with her two cats, Charlie and Bailey.
