Aimee Kirkendol

Dr. Aimee Kirkendol is a Family Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Educator residing in Bend, Oregon for the past 8 years, originally from Tennessee. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Tennessee and Master’s degree in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing practice degree from The University of Alabama-Birmingham. Her nursing experience began almost 25 years ago as a Licensed Practical Nurse obtaining one degree at a time starting with Associates Degree in Nursing with the most recent degree being the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2011. Aimee has done almost all kinds of nursing over the years, ranging from medical surgical floor nursing, home health/hospice, ambulatory clinic, orthopedic surgery, nursing education (both online and on campus) and now practices as a Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Educator in a primary care organization serving 15 clinics in Central Oregon . As a nurse educator for over 8 years, she feels it is a great responsibility to not only provide quality education but instill the passion in her students that is essential in a great nurses.
