Walden University’s Office of Alumni Engagement welcomes enthusiastic and experienced alumni to help give back to the school community through the Walden Ambassador Network, a volunteer initiative. Annually, a select group of Walden graduates bring their leadership skills, talents, and experiences to the greater Walden community as volunteer Ambassadors. This cohort elevates our connectivity, engages and celebrates student and alumni successes, and educates by sharing their expertise and journeys with prospective students.
Congratulations and welcome to our Walden Ambassador Network 2025-26 cohort. These more than 60 volunteers bring with them passion, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact on our Walden community. We are grateful to everyone who applied to join this volunteer initiative. The applications received were outstanding and the selection process was highly competitive.
Applicant Overview
Annually we seek graduates of any degree program to become alumni Ambassadors that embody Walden’s mission of social change. As a graduate of Walden University, your unique perspective, talents, and experiences will be invaluable as we seek to elevate our Walden community, inspire future students, and effect positive change. Schanell Jones, MSW ’23, always knew she wanted to help people. As a child, she imagined herself in a classroom shaping young minds. But over time, she discovered a passion to be a reliable helper and connector for families, children, and individuals.
As an Ambassador, you will play a vital role in helping Walden University grow and deepen alumni engagement, all while staying connected to the university in a variety of capacities!

After you are selected, you will be required to attend a training session during which you will learn program details, expectations, and commitment level, along with an overview of how you will engage with the Walden community.
