Vice President, Magnet Recognition® and Pathway to Excellence® Programs at the American Nurses Credentialing Center
In her role as VP, Rebecca has responsibility for the overall strategic growth and direction of ANCC’s organizational credentialing programs and teams.
Rebecca has 28 years of acute care nursing practice and leadership experience primarily in the Washington, DC region. She has written and presented extensively both domestically and internationally on nursing excellence topics. Rebecca is a baccalaureate-prepared nurse and received her Master of Science in Health Care Administration and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College. She has a certificate in Health Care Management from Georgetown University and is ANCC board certified as a Nurse Executive. She is currently a PhD candidate with a concentration in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration.
System Director of Professional Practice and Clinical Education at Sentara Healthcare
Susan Winslow received her DNP in Health Systems Management in 2013 from the University of Virginia and currently serves as the system director of professional practice and clinical education for Sentara Healthcare. She has over 30 years of experience in nursing and nurse leadership, including as a system lead for multiple ANCC Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence® designations and standardization of evidence-based leadership practices. She also serves as a consultant for the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Magnet appraiser and has received several awards for her contributions to the nursing profession. She currently sits on the Sentara College of Health Sciences Advisory Board.
Assistant Vice President of Professional Development at Cooper University Health Care
Jennifer L. Glendening received her PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Leadership at Walden University in May 2020 and joined Walden as a part-time contributing faculty member in 2021. Her nursing career includes 30 years of experience in education, research, healthcare quality, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), regulatory management, informatics, and healthcare finance. She is an LSS Green Belt and has served as a master facilitator on healthcare projects ranging from the development of clinical pathways to the restructure of nurse staffing models.
