In this concentration, you will explore the concepts of human and organizational functioning while examining issues and challenges inherent with the managerial role. Study the topics of career development, employee motivation, and effective decision making as well as ethical issues faced by domestic and transitional organizations and managers. Coursework also explores the basics of finance and how strategic human resources approaches can be used to address key business challenges such as talent acquisition, innovation, and customer service.
