Mutual fund studies, particularly the effects of misclassification and style drift on actively managed mutual funds and the application of Monte Carlo simulation to retirement planning

Background

Dr. Stokes has been a financial planner since 1994 and is a dispute resolution arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He has earned the Certified Financial Planner designation and specializes in retirement planning and wealth preservation solutions. Dr. Stokes has been an adjunct faculty member at online and traditional universities since 2001. He joined Walden in 2012 as contributing faculty, teaching finance in the D.B.A. program.
