Stuart G. Towns holds an M.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, where he researched artificial intelligence and multimedia for educational software. He has been an instructor in Walden’s School of Management since 2003. Before joining Walden, Towns was a project/product manager at an Internet consulting firm in San Francisco. He was part of a team responsible for both engineering and user experience for the travel website Orbitz.com. In 2005, Towns founded his own company to create intelligent e-learning websites. He has published a chapter in the book Smart Machines in Education: The Coming Revolution in Educational Technology.
