Dr. Kirstein is dean of the School of Management at City University of Seattle. Previously, he spent 20 years managing technical teams in the telecommunications and biotech industries. After completing his doctorate, Dr. Kirstein became interested in the area of sustainable business and leadership, which led him to further study of these topics at Bainbridge Graduate Institute. The author of several articles on internationalized education and educating for sustainability, he served as the lead editor for City University’s first collected volume on Authentic Instruction and Online Delivery, which was published in 2011. Dr. Kirstein joined Walden’s faculty in 2012 and works with students in the D.B.A. program as a doctoral study committee chair and instructor.
