Dr. Yvette Ghormley of Virginia Beach, Virginia holds a PhD in Organization and Management with a concentration in E-Commerce from Capella University, MA in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Education, Technology and Leadership from The George Washington University and a MS in Information Technology, Information Security, also from Capella University, and graduate certificates in Project Management and Contract Management from Villanova University. She works with doctoral learners at Walden University. Dr. Ghormley has many publications to include the internationally acclaimed Handbook of Information Assurance and she serves as Honorary Chairman of the Small Business Advisory Council to the United States Congress. She has also received numerous awards/research awards and was the Walden University 2014 Faculty Excellence Awards recipient for the School of Business (nominated by students and peers). Dr. Ghormley has over 57 students that now have a terminal degree, serving her students as a Chair, SCM, URR, Visiting Scholar, Methodologist, and/or Editor. Dr. Ghormley is a social entrepreneur and committed to her students and those with disabilities, especially our veterans! She has formed many “social” businesses and non-profits.
