Dr. Yolanda Fountain Hardy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) provider, a Sand Therapy practitioner, a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, a mental health forensic consultant, and an emerging yogi and yoga teacher (in training). Dr. Fountain is the owner of Play Wellness LLC in Roswell, Georgia and the founder of a 501(c)(3) organization, the Child Loss Center Inc. She earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University and a post-graduate certificate in Working with Survivors of Violence, Torture, and Trauma from the University of Maryland. She holds professional memberships with the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, and the World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals (as a founding board member). Dr. Fountain joined the faculty of Walden University in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences in December 2020.
