Dr. Li's formal training is in Health Services Policy and Management from University of South Carolina. Dr. Li's research interest focused on quantitative research in HIV education, vision health, stroke patient treatment choice, cancer prevention and health care access. She has over 10 years of data management and analysis experience with clinical data, survey data, and claims data by SAS and STATA.
At Walden University, she has served on numerous doctoral student dissertation committees.
Dr. Li has published 7 peer-reviewed articles as well as numerous conference presentations including Academy Health and American Public Health Association, including her dissertation that received the Medical Care Section Award.
